Join us for a special evening of connection and self-confidence as we bring the Hance Family Foundation's Beautiful Me program to Long Beach. We'll start with a casual community mingle, then move into an interactive Beautiful Me experience exploring confidence, self-worth, and the way we see and speak to ourselves.
So, what's Beautiful Me?
Beautiful Me is the signature confidence-building program from the Hance Family Foundation. Created for girls and women ages 5–105, it explores self-esteem, self-awareness, and the way we see ourselves and each other.
It's become part of the Foundation's larger Self-Esteem Rising initiative and it's completely free.

Meet Your Hosts
Beautiful Me: Long Beach is hosted by two community leaders who believe deeply in the power of confidence, connection, and creating space where women feel genuinely seen.
Nancy Luong
Nancy Luong is a longtime Long Beach community leader, speaker, #1 bestselling author, and mental health advocate. A first-generation daughter of Vietnamese and Chinese immigrants, Nancy came to Long Beach in 2005 to attend CSULB and has spent more than a decade speaking, mentoring, and building community here.
Former Ms. Southern California 2023 and recipient of CSULB's 49 Under 49 recognition, Nancy's own journey toward self-love inspires her work empowering others. For her, bringing Beautiful Me to Long Beach is a natural extension of something she already believes: confidence grows where people feel supported, seen, and encouraged.
Geleen Antonio
Geleen Antonio is a TEDx speaker, writer, community builder, and trained Beautiful Me facilitator. She is the founder of Travel Not to Escape, a travel and mental health platform, and Speaker Accelerator, where she helps people turn lived experience into meaningful ideas worth sharing.
After years working alongside the Hance Family Foundation and supporting Beautiful Me's expansion across the country, Geleen is thrilled to bring the program home to Southern California by facilitating a Beautiful Me experience in her own community.
Helping people recognize what is already within them and imagine what becomes possible when they have the confidence to use it.
The Venue
A gathering place built for connection.
We're excited to gather at Intertrend, a creative agency deeply rooted in the Long Beach community. Founder Julia Huang and the Intertrend team have intentionally built their Long Beach home as more than an office, it has become a gathering place for creativity, community events, collaborations, artists, businesses, students, and local residents.
That spirit of slowing down, listening, talking, and building community makes Intertrend an especially fitting home for Beautiful Me.
